Concept Paper
Asia’s economies are characterized by rapid growth, diversity, and increasing integration in global and regional markets. This dynamic environment presents unique challenges and opportunities for competition law. With Asia’s blend of established, emerging, and developing economies, competition regulators across the region are continually adapting. Therefore, it is essential to examine not only new developments but also the ways in which these developments are shaped by legislation from other jurisdictions or influenced by domestic factors in the adoption of foreign laws. To explore these dynamics, the organizing committee invites a diverse range of papers addressing any of the following topics in relation to Asia/ASEAN.
